Not unexpected, the Virginian-Pilot is reporting that Dwight Freeman's contract will not be renewed. Freeman has coached the men's basketball team for five years and compiled an overall 63-83 record.

ODU men lose to Butler

The Monarchs bowed out in the first round of the NCAA tournament, losing to Butler, 57-46. The Monarchs were seeded 12th, while Butler is the 5th seed in the Midwest Region. Congrats to the men for making it to the tournament.
