An early night?

It's beginning to look like it. Here at NPR HQ, the folks have Obama at 200 EVs to 76 for McCain. This means that with California (55), Oregon (7) and Washington (11), Obama gets over  270. And he does it without even getting the results from Virginia. CNN shows Obama with 194 EVs, MSNBC has … Continue reading An early night?

Fox calls it for Kay Hagan

Fox News has just called the NC Senate race for Kay Hagan, a pretty significant upset here. I guess essentially calling someone an atheist just doesn't fly, even in the Bible Belt.

At 7:30pm, the polls closed in North Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia. Coming up at 8pm will be 16 more states, representing 171 electoral votes. Fortunately, the … Continue reading First blog from NPR

HRC at GMU

I went to George Mason Sunday for a rally for Barack Obama with Hillary Clinton. I understand that there were about 3,000 people there. Below is a brief video clip of the crowd. (The VIP section was to the side of the stage, which is why I didn't take more video.) We arrived early and … Continue reading HRC at GMU
