I've been hearing for several days that the Democratic candidate in the 1st CD, Dr.Keith Hummel, would suspend his campaign.  I received a copy of the official announcement via email, which you can read here. I've heard that another candidate is in the wings. Stay tuned.

According to CNN: Carlin was best known for his routine "Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television," which appeared on 1972's "Class Clown" album.
