In case you were unable to attend last Tuesday's Norfolk council meeting, the Virginian-Pilot reprinted the statement read by Mayor Paul Fraim regarding the removal of Paul Riddick from his vice mayor's position. (I really wish the Pilot would post op-eds to PilotOnline.)
The Senate passed SB 772 last Monday and it now moves on to the house. This nixes the tax on tax proposed by Norfolk Commissioner of the Revenue Sharon McDonald.
