In case you missed it: SNL – Palin / Hillary
This is just too funny. Tina Fey has got Palin down pat 🙂 (Note: there is a 15-second ad at the beginning) My favorite line: "I can see Russia from my house." UPDATE: For some reason, this video autoplays. I find that annoying. You can see the video here
So is Terry running for governor?
That was the question I posed to Terry McAuliffe, former DPVA chair, former DNC chair and Clinton advisor, yesterday at Mark Warner's Pig Roast. McAuliffe was coy. He said that he's focused on 2008. (Earlier in the day, he had announced that he was planning a 30-locality tour, ostensibly to campaign for Mark Warner and … Continue reading So is Terry running for governor?

The announced resignation of Terrie Suit in the 81st district has the phones buzzing. Although Suit has already endorsed announced candidate Barry D. Knight, his election is far from assured. Remembering 9/11
Everyone remembers where they were on that fateful day, seven years ago. But as I wrote two years ago, something else came out of that event: for a while, we became a nation united. We were united in our grief for the loss of lives so senselessly, in our anger that someone would dare to … Continue reading Remembering 9/11
Palin NOT coming to Beach
According to PilotOnline, Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin will not be coming to Virginia Beach on September 18, as previously announced. Maybe this poll scared her off? In the area around Norfolk, Hampton Roads and Virginia Beach — a region John Kerry lost by four points — Obama appears to have a 13-point advantage.
