The AP is reporting that Barack Obama and his family have resigned their membership in Trinty. Obama campaign communications director Robert Gibbs said Obama had resigned from the church "over the last few days." Interesting.

Democrats already have the next senator from Virginia: Mark Warner! UPDATE: Bearing Drift calls it for Gilmore, 4645.83 to 4019.96. Raising Kaine says Gilmore only won by 70 votes. Wow. UPDATE2: Jeff Frederick wins the chairman's seat. Now how soon does he resign? We D's want that seat 🙂
