  1. I’ve never been there, but I’m gonna guess, based on Virginia Republican congressmen’s blogs (I’m talking ’bout you, Cantor), that comments are moderated and/or changed to be FOR the candidate, creating his own echo chamber.

  2. That’s gotta be some of the lamest crap I’ve ever read. The question in the back of my mind while I read through the whole blog was: Who gives a damn? There was not one thing written there that would address something of any particular interest. More like a written version of “How I Spent My Summer Vacation” and “What I Learned in Government Class In Summer School .”

Such drivel . . . such meandering . . . such fertilizer. And he was in the United States Senate???

  3. “Never trust a guy with two first names.”

Women with “two first names” like the proprieter of this blog, though, are eminently trustworthy!

  4. Vivian,

Having been in school with George Allen, I have to wonder whether he actually does his own blogging or whether in fact some PAC employee does it. Somehow, I cannot see Macaca doing it himself.

  5. Well, I’m trying to picture Gilmore talking into his dictaphone, having someone transcribe and print it, making corrections in red, circulating the paper draft among three or four flunkies for fact-checking and punch-up, and then having another assistant type the result out on the blog. Seems like that process would yield a better result. He as much admitted it, referring a commenter to his “scheduler” in one of his first responses.
