It figures that the only way we can think of to keep the American public even remotely interested in a long and drawn out primary process is with a healthy dose of T&A.
I must say, I am getting more and more inclined to vote.
All joking aside, if it were not for the fact that this is for the Romney girls, I would think this video would perfectly explain how this all has gotten out of hand. But this is the nature of politics these days, and despite the fact that it also brought about serious minded voters like us to blog and comment, the internet has given rise to acts and shows. Unfortunately, this may also bring about an era of uninformed voting; rather than voting by political position, a person might vote on which candidate’s girls (and I highly suspect soon, guys) are most attractive, or some other superficial reasoning.
What are you talking about, CR? People have been voting like that forever.
I personally think that every girl or girls who make these videos is actually working against said candidate. I don’t think it’s helping anyone.
Vivian,
Romney is using actual clips and actions of Obamagirl. If you think it’s out of hand, then, well, maybe it says something about Obama’s character and choice in advocates?
The point of the video is to direct you to another Web site to compare the type of person that supports Obama vice Romney.
Oh, and your headline is misleading.
And J.R. gets today’s award for Most Credulous Idiot.
It’s satire, JR. I know that it’s one of the higher forms of humour, but you should be able to ID it.
Thanks, MB.
Barely Political should put out all the videos they can. Not only has it made the election race more interesting, but it has increased the online entertainment of the whole process.
Wow! MB, your typical, I am better than everyone else response. It doesn’t surprise me you are such the hypocrite.
Jamie, I understand your point. Remember the ad against Harold Ford in Tennessee that ended with the white girl saying blowing a kiss into the camera and saying “Harold, call me!”
I wonder how this sort of thing plays with dixiecrats in South Carolina.
This has gotten out of hand. I knew that when I saw the Hillary girl video.
LOL @ JR thinking it is put out by Romney…
Did you miss the joke about how Mitt has “girls” as opposed to “girl”. (hint: polygamy is often associated with the Mormon faith)
Did you get think that the Jib-Jab videos were put together by a one of the campaigns 3 years ago as well? Take a breath and chuckle. It is not intended to be taken seriously.
note: stay tuned – the Romney Girls are just getting started. 😉
The Harold Ford ad was a real campaign ad. These pretty obviously are not, although I suppose there are a few satire-impaired folk out there who won’t get that.
Personally I think the [your candidate here] girls will disappear by the time of the Iowa caucus, unless that gets moved up to October, which is looking more and more possible.
Victimized by WordPress formatting again, sigh. That last paragraph had the words “your candidate here” before “girls”, but I made the mistake of putting them in angle brackets.
