HB12, the revised bill I mentioned last week, passed this House this morning on a 91-7 vote. Kudos to the majority of Delegates who voted for this bill.

HB12 is not a very great bill however it would be a start. I was in richmond lobbying for it yesterday on behalf of labor but we were also encouraging the Senate to strengthen the bill. They have three bills concerning this on the Senate side which they might have ironed out today. HB12 will not be the finished product that comes out of the General Assembly.
