Four days after she graduated from Hampton University, Amber Garrett went to New York to audition for America’s Got Talent. She didn’t make the cut for the show, but she did get a bit of national exposure on the Today show.
The 21-year Maury High School grad will have a vocal recital this coming Saturday at 7pm at Queen Street Baptist Church, 413 E. Brambleton Avenue in Norfolk.
