Another Father’s Day is upon us, the 38th I’ve experienced without my own father, the Rev. Charles Thomas Paige (b. 9/25/11, d. 9/6/73). The photo to the left is one of my favorites, taken 61 years ago on 6/15/50, the day he graduated from Temple with his master degree in theology and the day my parents were married.
I’ve published a lot of his writings on this blog over the years, with still more to go. His words continue to inspire me and his presence looms large.
Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. It won’t be too long now before you and Mama are together again.
