Hundreds gather in Norfolk for marriage equality

RedEqualityA vigil was held last night in Norfolk for marriage equality. According to this report, hundreds from across Hampton Roads came together at the federal court house. I was there in spirit, although not in body due to my work schedule.

Yesterday, of course, was the day that the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in one of two cases that affect marriage equality. SCOTUSblog is what I used to get caught up on all that happened, as well as interpretations of what it all meant. (It’s a good resource for anything related to the court.) We shall see soon enough if the justices believe all means all.

One of the better blog posts I’ve run across about this issue is this one. It should be required reading.
