The first debate between the candidates for lieutenant governor will be held tonight on the campus of George Mason University. Democrat Ralph Northam and Republican E.W. Jackson will square off at 7pm. The debate will not be televised but will be streamed live on http://www.wusa9.com/
I may have to sneak out of the class I’m taking a few minutes early tonight to make it home in time to watch 😉
The next LG debate will be held in just eight days – Wednesday, October 2. That debate will be held at Old Dominion University, beginning at 7pm. So close, yet so far away: I’ll be on campus that night, but I’ll be teaching at the same time 😦 Too bad I don’t teach political science – I could give the students the night off to watch it. No word on any broadcast of it.
Two of the three gubernatorial candidates will face off tomorrow night. The 7pm debate will be held in Northern Virginia but it will be televised by local TV station WAVY. And yes, I’ll have to put that one on the DVR 😦
