My latest op-ed, title above, appeared in The Virginian-Pilot last Thursday. As you might be able to tell from the title, it’s about the upcoming special election in the 100th House District, slated for next Tuesday, February 25.
Compared to the expensive special election in the 6th, this race will be cheap. There simply isn’t enough time. So this race will be old-schol: lots of shoe leather, and neighbors talking to neighbors.
I expect turnout to be tiny. So every vote counts.
If you live in the 100th, please take a little time to learn about the candidates. And a little more time to vote February 25.
My column appears in The Virginian-Pilot every week, usually on Thursdays.
