Friday fun: what kind of car should you drive?
Given that I bought a new car a couple of weeks ago, when I ran across this quiz, I thought it would be fun to see how close it came to my choice. While this was for 2007 cars, I have to admit it wasn't far off 😉 You Should Drive a Jaguar XK 4.2 … Continue reading Friday fun: what kind of car should you drive?
VA Delegation to Denver
The DPVA has released this list of delegates to the National Convention in Denver. It's an interesting list and should be an interesting time for all of us. Testing new setup
While I am waiting for my car, I decided to test a couple of things. First, I got a Lifebook U810 UPMC a couple of days ago. I'm trying to figure out if this computer is truly useful - or if it's too small for these old eyes. No verdict on that yet. Secondly - … Continue reading Testing new setup

Apparently, that isn't the case: Hillary will not … Continue reading Tell me it ain’t so, Howard!

The numbers are virtually indistinguishable, with a large number of undecideds in each matchup. The poll (pdf) … Continue reading Poll shows Moran, Deeds in dead heat

Kaine pushes to restore voting rights
Earlier this year, I put out my legislative agenda and included the restoration of voting rights as one of the five items that I would like to see the General Assembly accomplish. Unfortunately, none of the bills passed. In the past few weeks, though, I became aware of a push to get nonviolent felons to … Continue reading Kaine pushes to restore voting rights
