Friday fun: Pilot’s cartoonist on fire!

Walt Taylor, who draws editorial cartoons for The Virginian-Pilot, has been on fire lately.   This one was included in last Friday's paper: And this one was in Wednesday's paper: Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words 🙂 As always, click to enlarge.

“A date which will live in infamy”

So said President Franklin D. Roosevelt, referring to December 7, 1941, 70 years ago today. (You can hear the entire speech here.) The Virginian-Pilot has printed a four-part series on the ever-dwindling witnesses to this horrible event, culminating with today's article. Well worth a read.
